Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton were especially nice. There's one pic with a cumshot all over Upton's back. Most people think it is legit because her mole matches up. I have most, if not all, the pics out there right now for... um...personal reasons....

I saw the list and some people I haven't seen...like Hillary Duff...supposedly she was hacked too but nothing that I've seen...the sites I got them on are all saying that they're being taken down...J Law is smart she is copywriting them haha

I downloaded a Kate Upton folder that had a few vids of someone getting banged...some reverse cowboy...not sure if its her or not...

also there is some Verlander cockitz in it that I had to quickly delete...I wonder if DWB got a Tigers Boner for them hahahaha

Honestly, I think its a bit of a dick move by whoever did this. If everyone gets butthurt about their privacy being violated by the goverment, then they shouldn't really be happy about this.

If you really have the whole collection, you might want to delete a few of them right now, since one of the women is probably underage in them (McKayla Maroney just turned 18 last December). If you have no idea who that is, it's this one:

And while I understand why everyone thinks the Jennifer and Kate ones are the best (because they're the most porn-like), the Brie Larson pics are truly underappreciated.

Yeah, I caught an article online off Fox News about the possible child porn angle. I deleted those images asap. I don't need or dig that shit. But, thanks for the heads-up.

btw, I did take notice of Brie's pics. She was hot as hell in 21 Jump Street. And, she has such small areolas with big, long erect nipples, not to mention the ample sized rack on her.

On a side note, while I wish this shit didn't happen to these women, since their pics are now out there, I will indulge. I am a man after all.

I dont feel bad for them at all.

Dont get me wrong, its not right that it happened, but if you take nude pics/video of yourself, its more your fault than anyone elses if they get out.

There was a girl I knew when I first got into the military who was fucking a friend of mine, and they made a next tape.    You didnt really see him since he was recording and when he wasnt you couldnt tell who either of them were...but there was plenty of definite shots of her giving head and jerking him.   Anyway, some asshole re-recorded it (was a VHS) and showed it to alot of people and eventually it found its way into the hands of someone who turned it in and she got discharged for it.      She was a cool person (and damn hot), but I didnt feel bad for her at all.

Point being....dont take nude photos or video of yourself.   Whoever gets them may not be trustworthy....especially if its a boyfriend who then becomes a bitter EX.

It's not your fault if someone steals your shit. I get the idea that you should think about the possibility of it being made public if you decide to do it, but you can't blame people for having their computers hacked, or their things taken from them, because that's literally beyond their control.

Edit: And while what happened to your friends sucks, if you look at this situation, as bad and embarrassing as it is for all of these women on a personal level, it won't affect any of their careers. Jennifer Lawrence is still going to be doing the Hunger Games movies and Oscar bait prestige dramas. Kate Upton is going to continue being a fairly popular print model. All the other mid and low level actresses that got leaked are going to continue to be mid and low level actresses, and some might even make it up to high level. The only real effect here is that they're going to be embarrassed for a few months and have to answer interview questions about the whole thing. In other words, they could have looked at the risks of having nude photos out there and actually realized that they don't really have much to lose. In the end, most of them haven't really lost anything except for some shame and any sense of privacy.

I didnt blame them for having their stuff stolen...I blamed them for having nude pictures in the first place.   They have no one to blame but themselves.

And no...it really isnt "beyond control" at all.

Im not supporting whoever did it....but dont take nude photos unless youre prepared for them to possibly be made public some day.

I know its not going to hurt their careers.  Hell, in Hollywood, it will probably make them even more popular.

But any embarrassment they suffer is mostly on them.

Im not trying to sound like a prude or anything....I like the pictures, for obvious reasons....but their own poor decisions made it possible.

Im not knocking these celebs at all...just saying I dont feel bad for them.

what sucks is that they got released all at once because there are A LOT more names on the list that won't be released now because of all the heat going on now...whoever did it should've released them slowly...I was looking forward to seeing more haha Hillary Duff is someone that comes to mind :)

Once the first leaks started happening (and especially once JLaw and Kate Upton were released), there was always going to be a lot of heat on it. In fact, your only real hope for seeing everything was actually someone dumping their entire collection all at once. If you're doing it in bits and pieces, the most important stuff is always going to get leaked out last.

Which is also why the videos that supposedly exist are more than likely never, ever coming out.

Basically.

I understand where Mitza is coming from (basically, it's just take responsibility for your own actions), but it really doesn't apply in situations where someone steals something from you. If someone steals your physical possessions, it isn't your fault because you had the possessions in the first place. The fact that these are digital things doesn't change that fact, and and neither does the fact that these are embarrassing.

Well, I'm taking Mizta's POV. If I take a picture of my girlfriend or myself naked, I am taking the chance that it may fall into the wrong hands. Now, there isn't much of one for me, but I still have never taken a photo like that. The fact these women are in the spotlight, the chance of having their shit taken from them goes through the roof. They also were stupid because they used weak passwords. If I had compromising material on my devices, I would pick one secure, not easy to guess, password.

First of all, this isn't about having easy to guess passwords (the way that most of these happen is actually though someone hacking their way through the system's password recovery/reset feature [which is where iCloud specifically is actually quite weak], which means they never needed to know the original password). Second of all, it isn't even necessarily their phones that got broken into (again, Justin Verlander is the source of the Upton leak, not Kate Upton herself), and if you're going to make her responsible for his lax security, then I don't know what to say to you at that point.

Edit: I just went to check this out and make sure. For Apple accounts, all you need is a first and last name, a date of birth, and an e-mail address to get you to the security questions that allow you to reset your password. And, more importantly, they don't lock you out after multiple failed attempts. That's just bad security on Apple's part, and as a user you can't really do much of anything about that.

And because I'm feeling particularly nice right now, a lesson in account security (based on one of the vectors of attack):

Security questions are shit when it comes to security. Either don't use them at all, or, if you're forced to used them, don't actually answer them.

The TL:DR version of the last post:

It's one thing to say that "Here are ways you can better protect yourself so that it's more difficult for someone to do this to you". It's another to say that since you weren't an expert on network security, the blame for the fact that you were able to be hacked lies with you.

That is literally the dumbest fucking thing I have ever read on here...by someone not named wolvie, bradohio or Franklin.

No...its not even close to the same thing.

Maybe if you said COUNTERFEIT money, that would be more appropriate.

The stolen asset isnt what Im debating here.

Im talking about the incriminating/embarrassing aspect of that asset.

Stolen pictures of a family vacation = Sucks that its stolen.

Stolen pictures of something incriminating/embarrassing =   Sucks that its stolen, but its your fault those embarrassing pics exist in the first place.

I'm saying don't take the photos in the first place. There might be consequences. Expect that a hack might occur and don't have naked photos on the net anywhere. If they get out, it's your fault for thinking your shit was secure, especially in this day and age. And as for me making Upton responsible for his lax security... um, where did I say that?

Yes, it is. What you're basically saying is that if they hadn't had any nude pictures in their accounts, then they would have had nothing to worry about. Which isn't true for a bunch of reasons, starting with the fact that whomever got into their account wouldn't have known whether or not there were any pictures there. They were hacked because they were celebrities (specifically because they were female celebrities), and the hope was that there was something interesting/salacious in there, which in this case there was.

Let me put it this way....

If I wrote two letters.....one being a nice letter to my mother, and the other being a dirty, sex letter to a married woman, and those letters are stolen.....obviously both are thefts, but Id have no one else to blame but myself for that sex letter if it got out.    Yes, I could blame the person who stole it, but in the end, if I wasnt doing something I shouldnt have done in the first place, that letter wouldnt have existed and wouldnt have been stolen.

Come on, man, now you're just being obtuse. Fine then. She is to blame for allowing the pics to be taken. He is to blame for having them on his phone and in the cloud. The hackers are to blame for stealing the photos. But to say that these people can just coast through life clueless and not aware of all the hacking taking place into corporations and other celebrities and that's just fine and good... well, that's bullshit. It's their fault for being stupid. Now, if you cannot see that, I don't know what to tell you 'cause it's kinda fucking obvious.

Are you their fucking publicist or something?    Only reason I can think of youre bending over backwards to defend them.

And no, its NOT the same thing....unless you just narrow-mindedly lump all assets into the same category.

In terms of being stolen....yes, it sucks.

It would be the same thing if I were blaming them for NORMAL EVERYDAY pictures existing.    Money (unless its stolen or counterfeit) isnt incriminating in any way.    Therefore, money being stolen is just that.

In this case, pictures were stolen.   But these werent normal everyday pictures.....these were nude pictures.    Does it suck that they were stolen?    Yes...but the incriminating/embarrassing NATURE of the photos....whose fault is that?

Stop focusing solely on the fact that assets were stolen....I empathize with that.       The NATURE of the asset that was stolen is what I am talking about.

So the cash argument is just stupid and not even close to the same.

Generally speaking, I don't like your line of thinking because it doesn't actually help anyone or solve anything, because it avoids/ignores the underlying problem. Because the problem isn't that naked pictures of them leaked (we've already agreed that it's probably not going to hurt any of their careers, and truthfully some of them were probably going to end up getting photographed nude at some point in the future anyway, either as part of a movie or by paparazzi). The problem is that they got hacked. And the way to fix that problem is by figuring out how and why they got hacked, and eliminating the holes there. If they hadn't had any nudes, then they still would have been hacked, it just would have been someone having access to all their e-mails and text messages (because the way this works is that they download whole phone backups from iCloud, not just pictures). Which wouldn't have been a international story, but still would have been a very bad thing for them (and happens to non-celebrities as well because of Apple's security issues).

Well, that and, because I like looking at pictures of naked women, I'd rather not sit there and tell women to stop taking pictures of themselves naked when there's an easier/better solution out there.

Edit: And when I say fixing the problem of being hacked, you have to understand that that won't actually fix the issue of nude pictures getting out there when you don't want them to, because there's still the matter of revenge porn, angry ex boyfriends, accidentally posting them yourself (Alison Pill, anyone?), and/or just losing your phone/tablet/computer, so you still should be thinking about the consequences of it and deciding whether of not it's worth it.
